This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs use of the marketplace, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Marketplace”) operated by [Your Marketplace Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Marketplace, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Purpose & Marketplace Values
ReziMart exists to support independent makers, small businesses, and community-driven commerce. The Marketplace prioritizes independently owned brands and explicitly excludes mass-market, corporate-controlled, and private equity–controlled products.
This Policy is intended to protect users, uphold our values, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Seller Eligibility
The Marketplace is intended for:

Independent creators, artists, and makers
-
Privately owned small businesses
-
Seller-owned brands not controlled by large corporate or financial entities
By listing products, sellers represent and warrant that they meet these criteria.
3. Prohibited Products and Uses
Users may not list, sell, promote, distribute, or otherwise make available any products or content that fall into the categories below.
3.1 Corporate- and Private Equity–Controlled Products
The Marketplace does not permit products that are:

Manufactured, branded, owned, licensed, or distributed by:
-
publicly traded corporations; or
-
private equity firms, venture capital funds, hedge funds, or similar investment or asset management entities; or
-
-
Produced or sold by any subsidiary, affiliate, portfolio company, or other entity that is directly or indirectly controlled, in whole or in part, by such organizations.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Nationally or internationally distributed consumer packaged goods
-
“Big box” retail brands
-
White-labeled, drop-shipped, or rebranded corporate products presented as independent
3.2 Resale and Retail Arbitrage
Sellers may not list:
-
Retail arbitrage products
-
Wholesale mass-market goods
-
Products primarily sold through large national or international retail chains
unless explicitly approved in writing by ReziMart
3.3 Illegal, Unlawful, or Regulated Goods
The Marketplace may not be used to distribute or promote any products or activities that are illegal or unlawful under applicable local, state, national, or international law.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

Illegal drugs or controlled substances

Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
-
Counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently obtained goods
-
Products that violate import/export controls or sanctions
-
Goods that require licenses or permits that the seller does not possess
-
Unsafe or recalled products
-
Products prohibited by consumer protection, health, or safety laws
Sellers are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
Users may not:

Sell counterfeit or knockoff products
-
Infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade dress
-
Use brand names, logos, or designs without proper authorization
3.5 Misrepresentation and Deceptive Practices
Users may not:
-
Misrepresent the origin, ownership, sourcing, or control of products
-
Conceal or obscure corporate ownership or financial backing
-
Create shell brands or misleading storefronts to bypass Marketplace restrictions
-
Provide false or incomplete information when reasonably requested
3.6 Harmful, Abusive, or Exploitative Conduct
The Marketplace may not be used to:
-
Harass, threaten, or abuse others
-
Promote violence, hate, or discrimination
-
Exploit individuals or communities
-
Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive behavior
3.7 AI-Generated or AI-Assisted Content and Products
The Marketplace is intended to support human creativity, labor, and craftsmanship. Users may not list, sell, promote, distribute, or otherwise make available any products or content that are:
-
Generated, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, or similar automated tools; or
-
Created with the assistance of such systems in a manner that replaces or materially reduces meaningful human authorship, design, or creative effort.
This prohibition includes, without limitation:
-
AI-generated artwork, illustrations, designs, text, music, audio, or video
-
Products derived from or based on AI-generated or AI-assisted source material
-
Works misrepresented as human-made where artificial intelligence was used in the creation of core creative elements
By listing products on the Marketplace, sellers represent and warrant that their products are the result of substantial human creative effort and comply with this section.
Users may not attempt to circumvent this Policy by failing to disclose artificial intelligence use when requested, mischaracterizing AI-generated work as human-made, or using intermediaries to obscure AI involvement.
Violations of this section may result in removal of listings, suspension or termination of accounts, and permanent disqualification from the Marketplace.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for:

Ensuring all listings comply with this Policy
-
Conducting reasonable due diligence regarding ownership, control, and sourcing
-
Maintaining required licenses, permits, and certifications
-
Responding promptly to compliance or verification requests
Failure to do so may result in enforcement action.
5. Enforcement & Discretion
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

Remove listings or content
-
Suspend or terminate accounts
-
Deny access to the Marketplace
-
Take other actions necessary to protect users and the integrity of the Marketplace
Enforcement may occur with or without prior notice, particularly in cases involving illegality, misrepresentation, or repeated violations.
6. Exceptions
Limited exceptions may be granted at our discretion for:

Cooperatives or worker-owned businesses
-
Certified social enterprises or nonprofits
-
Legacy independent brands with minority investment that does not result in loss of control
All exceptions must be approved in writing and may be revoked at any time.
7. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Marketplace after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
